Characters

Development

Technicalities
The Skyrim is compatible with 32 or 64 bit Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. A minimum required Intel or an AMD 2 GHz Dual-core Hard disk, though a quad-core is recommended. It works fine with 2 GB RAM but 4 GB RAM is highly recommended for the smooth working. The game requires more than 6 GB free HDD space. A Direct X 9.0c compliant Video Card having 512 MB of RAM will serve the purpose, but for uninterrupted use, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or ATI Radeon HD 1 GB is recommended. DirectX compatible sound card and minimal internet access for Steam activation will be beneficial.

Technical Issues
Several small to large scale issues arose following its launch. Rising of a texture-down scaling issue when the Skyrim was run on the Hard Drive of the Xbox 360 version; saving files with more than 6 MB file size each on the PlayStation 3 version hence resulting in system crash and slow running of the system; several crash issues on the Windows version are a few examples of the varied technical issues in the Skyrim.

Hence, an updated version was released on 29th November 2011 Skyrim Version 1.2 to fix a few of the issues. But this again came up with several small bugs from the users.
